Do Dah Day
-Annual parade and outdoor music festival held in Caldwell and Rhodes Park
-Since 1992 the festival has generated in excess of $250,000 for the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, Save Our Strays and The Emergency Animal Rescue Service (T.E.A.R.S). Dogs are welcome in the park, unless they are a potentially hostile animal

Bruno's Memorial Classic
-Large charity golf tournament sponsored in large part by Bruno's grocery company
-Many PGA golfers play in the tournament, such a Chi Chi Rodriguez
-After 12 years the tournament has benefited numerous local charities with over $4.7 million in contributions
